Experience Asia’s largest tulip garden in Srinagar

The famous Dal Lake is visible from the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, also known as Siraj Bagh, which is situated on the Zabarwan range’s slopes in Srinagar. Ghulam Mabi Azad, Srinagar’s Chief Minister at the time, inaugurated it in 2008, and thousands of tourists visit it each year. More than 50 gardeners have been slaving away for the past nine months to complete this special edition tulip garden in preparation for the festival. The tulips bloom for as long as the garden is open, which is until the end of April.

The 30-hectare-large tulip garden in Srinagar includes a wide range of daffodils, hyssen, and muscari blossoms in addition to tulips. The tulips, which come in over 68 different types and number about 15 lakh, continue to be the main draw. Tulip flowers typically last three to four weeks, but because the tulip bulbs in the garden are planted in stages, they typically last as least a month or longer.
