Verinag is located 28 KMs from Anantnag and 78 Kms from Srinagar and is famous as the source of Jehlum River. Much to admire is the octagonal stone basin around the verinag spring which was built by Jehangir.  Also Verinag has a well maintained beautiful garden which is a famous picnic destination for all the locals during summers.

Located between South Kashmir's Breng Valley and Kishtwar, Sinthan Top is a mountain pass which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. At a height of 3800 m, Sinthan Top draws many tourists with 360° gorgeous views of both Jammu Region and Kashmir Region. Being covered in snow throughout the year, this must-see place in Kishtwar attracts snow lovers as well.

Lolab valley, locally known as ‘Wadi-e-Lolab’ is known for its fruit orchards, lake, springs and lush rice fields. Lolab can be easily reached by road. Poets like to refer to Lolab as a true destination and as “land of love and beauty”. Lolab valley is 5km wide and 26 km long. It is located at a distance of 120 kms from Srinagar in Kupwara district. Lolab is a combination of three valleys, Potnai valley, Brunai valley and Kalaroos valley.

Along the National Highway-1B, on the route of Anantnag - Sinthan - Kishtwar Road, is located this mesmerizing tourist spot called Daksum. It is known for the stupendous natural beauty that it possesses. Daksum is a favorite picnic spot in this region and rightly termed as Walker’s paradise due to its excellent trekking locations.  This serene locale is situated at an altitude of 2438 m above the sea level at the distance of 40 km away from main Anantnag city.

Hidden between the lush green hills, clearwater streams, and untouched meadows lies a valley in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara where the cattle run wild and birds sing lullabies through the day. The place is named Bungus Valley. The valley is located nearly 10,000 metres above sea level (MSL).

This 30 km long valley has splendid waterfalls, vast verdant meadows and pastures, huge cedar trees, enormous patches of thickly wooded forests and all sorts of natural scenic places that leave the visitor spell bound.
